Matt Rogers’ artwork explores a complex relationship with home and invites the viewer to examine fragments of the so-called California dream.

For Matt Rogers, California is beauty and devastation, beach culture and counterculture, a utopia and dystopia coexisting at once.

To show off Matt’s colorful, dynamic paintings, the website includes full-bleed banner details, a bold navigation overlay, and simple vertical scrolling.

The slideshow introduction focuses not on Matt’s artwork, but pulls instead from shots of Matt’s studio and collages containing family photos  and handwritten notes on scraps of paper.
